My name is Kamil 👋

I grew up in Poland, moved to London at 18yo for university, quickly realized London is expensive and at 19yo accidentally got a job as the first employee at an AI tech startup (before AI was cool).

My work highlights include:

  • First CTO at Bearable, bringing it from 0 to 250k users in 2 years as a solo dev.

  • Bootstrapped Easy Ticket AI, which now has a bunch of B2B customers including the government of Estonia.

  • Started a software agency, delivering projects like UK government-funded Gridicity.

  • Developed another 10+ projects/startups that failed were great learning experiences.

I like living in the future:

  • I am convinced that tech will solve all of our problems, including aging, poverty and bureaucracy, and will help everyone reach their true potential.

  • Currently based in Balaji Srinivasan’s Network School, a frontier community for techno-optimists.

I enjoy exploring the world:

  • Visited 44 countries and lived for at least a month in 10, on 4 continents.

  • I speak English and Polish well, and Spanish badly (for now).

  • Road tripped in 10+ countries, including India 🛺

I lift heavy:

  • PRs include 220kg deadlift, 185kg squat, 150kg bench, 100kg military press.

  • Getting better at tricking my brain to enjoy cardio.

  • Also enjoying mental workouts; I was president of my university’s chess club.
